uriah c. casey's first wife was Jane woodward, then he married rachel woodward july 4, 1872 in newton county arkansas,daughter of elisha woodward and mary hill.he married mary jane bohannon december 17, 1876 in newton county, arkansas, daughter of john bohannon and elizabeth easter. uriah fathered the following children by jane; james franklin, george w.,francis marion, andrew jackson, uriah, eliza jane, winfield scott, christopher columbus,absolem c. and john h.
with mary jane bohannon, he fathered irby bohannon and pleasant thomas. that family group is pictured at left.

URIAH C. CASEY
Uriah C. Casey, aged 80 years, died today at Hillyard. He is survived by 11 children. The remains have been taken to the New England Undertaking parlors. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

To Be Buried at Hillyard
Funeral services for Uriah C. Casey, age 80 years, who died yesterday at his home east of Hillyard, will be held tomorrow from the New England undertaking chapel at Hillard at 2 o'clock. The dead man leaved a large family. Burial will take place at the new Masonic Cemetery at Mead.
