TALCOTT (RNS) - Kyle E. Morgan, 79, died Thursday night in a Hinton Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Ronceverte, May 14, 1895, he was a son of the late Joseph and Martha Morgan.
He had lived in Hinton for 36 years and had lived at Talcott for the past 3 years, was a member of the Cooks Chapel Baptist Church at Pipestem, was a veteran of World War I and was a retired fireman for Chespeake and Ohio Railrosd Company.
Survivors include his wife, Chrystal; 3 sons, Kyle Jr. of Ravenswood, Leo of Bridgeport, Connecticut and Albert of Williamsburg, Virginia, 3 daughters, Mrs. Joe (Kathleen) Pasicki of Easton, Connecticut and Mrs. James (Martha) Rootstool of Talcott; 1 brother, Lee of Ronceverte; 1 sister, Mrs. Macie Morgan of Ronceverte; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A son, David died in 1971.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Regular Baptist Church at Ronceverte with Reverent Johnny Atkinson in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Ronald Meadows Funeral Home in Hinton from 5-9 p.m. today.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Kyle E. Morgan was born to Martha E. Morgan and Joseph J. Morgan
Kyle married Maud Eteline Honaker. He was a railroad man and worked for C & O Railroad.
They had five children: Kyle Eugene Morgan, Kathleen (Kat) Fay Morgan, Norma Lea Morgan, Leo J. Morgan and Albert D. Morgan. His wife Maud died in 1898.
Kyle married Chrystal E. Parker. Chrystal took in his family as if they were her own. Together they had two children. Their son David Marshall Morgan died in 1941.
This six foot 2 man was a hard worker. He was as gentle as he was tall.
