Batesville AR: Passed peacefully on June 18, 2007 at age 85. She is predeceased by her husband, Coy Claxton; her parents Lloyd & Jennie (Anderson) Sutton; two brothers, Howard & Maynard Sutton. She is survived by a brother, Billy Sutton of Tokyo, Japan; three children; Robert N. (Johnnie) Claxton, Jennie (David) Miller & Jeanie (Al Monteiro) Claxton; three grand children & one great-grandson.

Iwana was a professional photographer, homemaker, and farmer. She, and her husband Coy, successfully operated a photography studio in Batesville, AR for over 35 years. She was past-president of the Professional Artists Guild of Arkansas and received numerous awards as a member of both the Arkansas and National Professional Photographers Associations. She was a long-standing member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Cushman United Methodist Church.

Memorial Calling Hours will be held on June, 21, 2007, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Miller Funeral Homes, Inc. in Rochester, New York.

Memorial services will be held at the Cushman United Methodist Church, Cushman, AR on June 29, 2007 at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in honor of Iwana to any of the following:
