Jessalyn Miranda Combs, 19, died tragically June 2, 2007 from an auto accident. She was born Jan. 12, 1988 in Jacksonville, (Duval Co) Fla. to Randall Scott Combs and Melissa Jane Bullard. Jessalyn lived in Baker County all of her life. She worked as a teacher at Tiny Tots Daycare.
Jessalyn loved spending time with her brothers, riding in the woods and music. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Willie E. Combs.
Survivors include her father, Randall Scott Combs and mother, Melissa Jane (Derrall) Tucker of Mcclenny, Fla.; one sister, Brandy Mills of Callahan, Fla.; five brothers, Waylon M. Combs, Dewayne Combs, Michael Combs, all of Macclenny, Fla., Derrall Tucker, Jr. of Jasper, Fla. and Derrick Tucker of Maxville, Fla.; maternal grandparents, Jesse and Nell Bullard of Baxley; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Combs of Taylor, Fla.; step-paternal grandmother, Sylvia McGhee of Orange Park, Fla.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral services were held in Ferreira Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6 with Pastor Clifton Barton officiating. Interment followed in Taylor Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services, 250 N. Lowder St., Macclenny, Fla. 32063.
