COLE, D. L. - Physician and surgeon, Bussey. This prominent M.D. was born August 12, 1848, in Ashland county, Ohio. Came with his parents to Mahaska county, Iowa, where he received his primary educa tion, after which he took a couse (sic) in the college at Pella. He then took a thorough course at the Keokuk Medical College. Came to Bussey in 1876. He was married to Miss Bell Bussey, June 13, 1 880, at Bussey, at the residence of the bride's father by the Rev. J. H. Hurd.
