They were engaged again at New Hope Church on the 25th [May], losing an additional 5 killed, 47 wounded. On the 10th. [?] of June they were engaged yet another time at Golgotha [Gilgal] Church, losing 4 killed, 9 wounded."

I believe I have identified Charles Crippen of the 19th Michigan as well in a grave marked as Unknown U.S. Soldier, H-8747. Clay and Crippen are two of the 4 KIA at Gilgal Church on June 15, 1864.
There are three men buried next to each other in Section G who were killed in the action at Gilgal Church, L.B. Griffin G-8254 and G.R. McRitchey G-5255.
