Roy spent his childhood in Montpelier. When he was 14 he moved to Midvale, Utah to live with his Aunt Mary. She took him in and treated him like he was her own child.
When he was 17, Roy enrolled in the Air Force. He served in Germany and France. His military service gave him the opportunity to see many interesting places and meet many people.
Roy married Neccia Hyde on February 2, 1960. They lived in Midvale, Sandy and West Jordan Utah. They raised two daughters and a son together.
Roy was employed at KKC for 32 years. He also worked a second job in garden centers. Working with flowers trees and all other plants was a great love of his.
Roy retired from KKC in 1984. He continued to work in the garden center until his health began to fail
Roy and Neccia moved to Aubrun in 2003.
Roy is survived by his wife, daughters, five grandchildren, a sister and a brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son David, and a brother. Leon.
Funeral services for Roy Booth were held on Monday, Oct 10,2005 at 11 a.m. in the Auburn LDS Chapel. Burial took place in the Auburn Cemetery
