Lois was born July 14, 1922 in her grandparents home in Odebolt Iowa. After moving a couple of times in Iowa she moved to southern California when she was seven. She grew up there and at age 18 was introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints by her future husband. She joined the church at that time and has since served in various positions. She has been employed in a variety of jobs including a career with the U.S. Postal Service where she retired in 1977. Of all her accomplishments, nothing was more satisfying to her than her eight children and the accompanying grand children and great grandchildren. She leaves them a legacy of faith, love and service.
