Inez Fitzgerald Anderson, 90, of 3810 Ennis Mountain Rd., Afton, died Monday May 14, 2007 at Augusta Medical Center, Fishersville, VA
Born August 22, 1916, in Fishersville, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Hanback) Fitzgerald. She was united in marriage with Charles Clyde Anderson prior to his death in 1985.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles Paul Anderson; her sisters, Blandine Reid and Doris Haney; brothers, Eldridge Fitzgerald and Burl G. Fitzgerald.
Surviving are a son, Richard Dale Anderson; sister-in-law, Alease Anderson and special niece, Connie Jones.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday May 17, 2007 at Hebron Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Hardwick, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Vance Swink, Andrew Loan, Forest Bryant Jr., Russell Arthur and Robert Moody IV. Honorary Pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Service on Wednesday May 16, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Memorial contributions be made to either the Rockfish Fire & Rescue Squad or to Hebron Baptist Church.
