Alice was married to James R. Banks and they had 16 children/10 living at the time of the 1900 census. She is said to have died when she was ejected from a wagon in St. Clair, GA. She died at her home in St.Clair. She is survived by her husband, Mr. J.R. Banks, three daughters, Mrs. C.E. Powell, Mrs. C.J. Lyons, of St.Clair, Mrs. W.T. Harris of Uvalda, four sons Mr. H.H. Banks of Gough, Messrs. Julian, Torbitt and Lansdell, of St. Clair.
She was a consistent member of the Baptist church and was loved by all who knew her.
