David was the son of of Isaac Yarian and Elizabeth Harrold.
He married on March 29, 1859, to Mary Magdalena Simon.

Yarian David, son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Yarian was born in Columbiana Co., O., Dec. 11, 1839. In the county of his birth he began his education but in 1850 his parents moved to Indiana where he finished his education and grew into manhood. At the age of 18 he united with the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and continued in its membership to the last, though of recent years he did not try to attend its services. He was married March 29, 1859 to Mary M. Simon and they had four children, but Mary Elizabeth and Alta Iona died several years ago, leaving the two, Flora Lydia Morlan, now of Leetonia, O., and Lorena Idella Fulk of Avilla. Mr. Yarian's life of 79 years 8 months and 21 days came to a close on Sept. 1, 1919. He leaves his companion; his two daughters, 4 grandchildren.

There are 2 stones in front of and next to David & Mary M. Yarian. According to the cemetery transcription they should be for Mary E. Yarian d/o D & M Aug 15, 1872 aged 10y 10m 22d and Alta Iona Yarian d/o D & M Sept 11, 1872 aged 9m
17d. However, both stones are unreadable.
