Josephine Hamilton, 75, of 5111 Burkesville Hwy., Celina, Tenn., died March 30, 2005 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina.
She was a member of the Celina Church of Christ.
Born in Celina on May 24, 1929, she was a daughter of the late William Bayless and Nellie (Wylie) Napier, Jr., and the wife of Billy Hamilton, who survives.
Other than her husband, survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Joyce Hamilton, Celina, and James and Donna Hamilton, Moss, Tenn.; a daughter and son-in-law, Dorthula and James Spurlock, Lebanon, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren — David Spurlock; Heather Burnett; Megan, Lindsey, Mackenzie, and Jennifer Hamilton; Brian Korth; and Dee Ann, Jerry and Greg Hill; nine great-grandchildren — Brooklyn, Kaitlyn and Josh Spurlock; Jacob and Katie Burnette; Kori Smith; and Roxanne, Mitch and Sydney Hill.
Funeral services were held on April 2 at Upton Funeral Home in Celina, with Bill Threet and Bill Ramsey officiating. Burial was at the Fitzgerald Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were: Jason Hamilton, Chris Hamilton, Joseph Burnette, David Spurlock, Joey Locke, and Greg Hill.
