He was a former employee of the Town of Pine Grove and Weirton Steel and a Protestant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Victoria Brewer Vandruff. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Catherine Vandruff; a son, Larry of Vienna, WV; a daughter, Barbara Vandruff Wade of Vienna. Graveside was held at Big Run Cemetery, Big Run, Wetzel County, WV.
