Dan was a man nobody can replace in any of our hearts. Dan lived his life the best way he could. He never had enemies nor did he step on anyone. He was well loved and respected by everyone who met him. How could he not be? He was such a kind soul. The type of person you can't get enough of.
He fought a tough battle over the last 3 years of his life here on earth working right up to the end never complaining or looking for pity. We all wanted more time with the man we called husband, father, STEP FATHER son, brother, and friend.
Dan is in heaven now. He's with his Son Michael, his father and both out my parents probably talking and fishing with my dad. I'm sure he is happy there because in heaven there is peace and there is no more pain.
