Obituary: On Monday, April 16, 2007 of Centreville, VA; beloved daughter of Joseph and Mona Samaha; sister of Omar and Randa Samaha; granddaughter of Souheil and Georgette Samaha of Beirut, Lebanon; niece of Claude Samaha of Beirut, Lebanon, Denise Boustani of Montreal, Canada, Camille Samaha of Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Nada Ayache of Toronto, Canada.
Samaha, 18, a freshman from Centreville , Va. , was described as fun and energetic, and a dancer.
"She was in theater. She was just real upbeat. Always had a lot of energy. Always a great person to be around. She'd always make you laugh," said friend Matthew Dockins, 19, a freshman civil engineering major.
Samaha, a Lebanese American, was among about 50 graduates from Westfield High School who came to Virginia Tech, and she was a popular student.
Everybody knew who she was.
