Edith (nicknamed Sally) was the youngest daughter of Margaret "Maggie" Christian and James Stacy. Edith had a twin brother, Jack Stacy. Edith left Kaufman County and moved to Uvalde County where her 2 older sisters lived, and where she married Virgil Wallis on February 20, 1917. Edith and Virgil had 7 children: 4 sons and 3 daughters. Edith and Virgil lived and raised their family mainly in Uvalde County.
