1911 Northumberland Annals:
Dr. Frederick Treon was a native of Berks County, Pa. and coming to Northumberland county settled in what is now Washington Township, where he practiced medicine until his death, being a physician of wide acquaintance. He traveled around on horseback, being a typical "saddle-bag doctor". He is buried at the Himmel Church, of which he was a member. He had a large field of operation - and in his time rode thousands of miles.
Dr. Frederick Trion, Jr. was my fourth Great Grandfather.
