Bonnie Jean Daniel Blomquist died on July 4, 2009 at the age of 73. She was born in San Saba, Texas on August 21, 1935 to Arlene Robbins Daniel and Calvin C. Daniel, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Calvin C. Daniel Jr. and sister Helen L. Daniel.

She was the valedictorian of the class of 1954 at San Saba High School, and attended the University of Texas at Austin. She graduated from Nixon-Clay business school in Austin.

She is survived by her husband whom she married on November 30, 1963. She is also survived by a sister, a brother, and many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie worked 28 years for American Founders Life Insurance Company in Austin, several years for Lawrence Insurance Company in Taylor and the Williamson County Tax Collector's office in the Motor Vehicle Registration Department.

She was a long-time and active member of the Tenth Street United Methodist Church. She served as a member of the Administrative Board and in the United Methodist women's organization. She loved to travel, loved flowers, watermelon and anything pink.

Celebration of Life Services were held on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Tenth Street United Methodist Church. Burial followed at the Taylor City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to Tenth Street United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 851, Taylor, TX 76574.
