Mrs. Josephine Shea Corrigan, 86. of 303 Saybrook St. widow of George Corrigan died Wednesday at a local convalescent home. Born in Chicopee Falls, Mass., she lived in Hartford most of her life. She attended St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, Hartford. She leaves a son, Gervase F. Corrigan of Hartford; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Mills of Plainville, Mrs. Edith Patterson of Hartford, Mrs. Ruth Varnas of North Aurora, Ill., Mrs. Grace Cowing of West Hartford and Mrs. Patricia Egan of Southington; a brother John Shea of Chicopee, Mass.; two sisters, Nellie Shea and Mrs. Marguerite O'Keefe, both of Chicopee; 20 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. The funeral: Friday, 9:15 a.m., Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 96 Webster St.; Mass of Christain Burial, 10 a.m., St Lawrence O'Toole Church. Burial; St. Joseph Cemetery, Plainville.
