Mela Baca,was born(Manuelita de Atocha Garcia)on October 11, 1925 to Raphael Garcia and Genoveva Maestas. She married Nicasio Baca on September 13, 1948, They had 14 Children and then Adopted 4 brothers in 1986.. Nick Jr., Ralph, Margie, Vincent, Sam, Kathy, Paul, Phyllis, Wilford, Patsy Dorothy, Max, Tessie, Tina, Alfred, Robert, Ricky and Rudy...Together they happily raised their 17 children as one, Max died at birth in 1967, They were Married for 45 years..She passed away January 10, 1995.. only 1yr and 2 mo. after his passing on November 15, 1993.... They are missed dearly....
