Death Takes Long-Time City Resident
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Baskin, 74, will be conducted at 4 p.m. today in Blackburn Shaw Memorial Chapel. Dr. W. Winfred Moore, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Mrs. Baskin died at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at her home, 1903-B Tyler.
Pallbearers will be J. D. Campbell, Trenton Davis, L. E. Bates, Phil Phillips, R. L. Pugh and Guy Davis
Mrs. Baskin was born Sept. 21, 1885, in Van Zandt County, Tex., and had lived in Amarillo since 1928. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Weldon Baskin and Howard Baskin, both of Amarillo; three daughters, Mrs. Ike Johnson of Amarillo, Mrs. Regan Bain of Clarendon and Mrs. E. L. Sill of Stroud, Okla.; a brother Cloma Fulgham of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. F. E. Wiseman of Portland, Ore.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
