Mr. Daniel Washington Galbreath of Sharpe Spur, whose death occurred last Thursday at his home, was laid to rest Friday afternoon in the family cemetery, with the Rev. R.H. Orr, pastor of the local Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Mr. Galbreath was a native of Montgomery County and was eighty-three years of age at his death. He was the father of Mrs. A.P. Thompson of this city.

The survivors are three daughters as follows: Mrs. A.P. Thompson of this city, Mrs. M.B. Whitfield and Mrs. H.C. Thompson, who live on Route No. 1 of this city. Five sons also survive as follows: D.L., J.T., H.H. and E., all of Vidalia, Route 2, and G.W. Galbreath, of Ailey, Ga.

The pallbearers were: Edgar Galbreath, Prince Thompson, Arthur Thompson, Ernest Galbreath, Robert Galbreath and Eddie Whitfield.
