Died. – Mrs. S. Osborn died at their home north of Paskenta Thursday morning of diabetes, at the age of 65 years. Her death comes as a surprise to many of her friends, as she was ill but a comparatively short time. The deceased was one of the oldest residents in the county, having come to California in the early '50s and having lived in the western part of this country from that time until her death. She leaves a husband and thirteen children to mourn her loss. The children are Mrs. A. J. Wheeler and A. H. Osborn of Corning, Jesse Osborn of Red Bluff, Mrs. Daniel [Hull], Mrs. Fred Oaks, Miss Selma Osborn, Miss Hattie Osborn, Messrs. J. B., Munson, Earl, Benjamin, John and Sullivan Osborn, all of the western part of the county.
