Thomas "Henry" Goethe, born 1808; died 1889; married Mary Elizabeth Tillinghast; & resided in the old Gillisonville community (in St. Luke's Parish). There were several children of the union. From 1847 through 1853 Henry was "High" Sheriff of Beaufort District.
