An 18-year-old is fighting for his life Friday after being shot multiple times by a drive-by shooter.
Phoenix police say the victim is Carlos Jimenez.
Officers found him lying in his front yard near 40th Street and Southern Avenue Thursday around 9:30 p.m. It's believed Jimenez was simply entering his front door when he was shot five times. He is in extremely critical condition. Police say they do have leads in the shooting".
Carlos was taken off life support Sunday Feb 11th, after being shot in the head & back. Cause of death due to severe brain injury."
