Church Hill - Pearl Sizemore, 100, Church Hill Life Care Center, died at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday (Dec 15, 1992) at Indian Path Hospital and Medical Center after a brief illness. Mrs. Sizemore was a native of Blackwater, Va., but lived in Hawkins County for the last 36 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Pennington Gap, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Smith Sizemore; one stepson, Gene Sizemore; her parents, Joseph C. and Sarah Livesay Blessing. Surviving are one stepdaughter, Mrs. Frankie Bass, Rogersville; four grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren. Calling hours are from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Johnston Funeral Home, Church Hill. Services will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with The Rev. Larry Parrott officiating. Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Liberty Hill Cemetery.
