FUNERALS
Mrs. Emma Boyd

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Boyd were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Waggener and Campbell chapel by Rev. F. B. Hillis. During the service Clide Carr sang three solo selections, accompanied by Mrs. Carr. Many beautiful flowers were banked about the casket and the chapel was filled by the many sorrowing friends. Those acting as pall bearers were Walter Kramer, Jack J. Lebert, Fred Smith, Frank Ridpath, Frank Zachary and R. M. Metcalf. Interment was made in the Conrad Memorial cemetery.

OBITUARY
Emma Chinn was born February 23, 1871, in Gentryville, Indiana, the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. John and Nancy Chinn. She passed away May 1, 1940, at her home in Kalispell. She was married April 30, 1898, to P. L. Boyd, who preceded her in death four years ago.
Mrs. Boyd came to Montana in 1908 and made her home in Somers and Kalispell since that time with the exception of four years spent near Galata, Montana.
Mrs. Boyd leaves to mourn her passing her three children: G. Glen Boyd (sic), Mrs. Mildred M. Hartman, and Mrs. Mary B. Kinyon, and eight grandchildren all of Kalispell; a sister, Mrs. C. H. Small, of Somers and other relatives and many friends.
