Mrs. Vene Allison

Mrs. Vene B. Allison, widow of Robert Allison, died this morning at 4:30 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cecil Swisher, 545 Louisiana Ave., Chester, She was 76. Mrs. Allison was born in Beaver County, Jan. 6, 1879, a daughter of Arthur and Martha White. She lived in this area 50 years. She was a member of the Chester Free Methodist Church and the WCTU. She leaves three other daughters, Mrs. Pearl Hubbard and Mrs. Maude Campbell of Chester, and Mrs. Virginia Allison of Hollywood, Fla.; seven sons, Earl Allison, James Allison and Claude Allison, all of Chester, Arthur Allison and Wilbur Allison, both of Beaver, Claire Allison of Hookstown, and Dwight Allison of Aliquippa; a brother, Morgan White and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Baker of Aliquippa, and 36 grandchildren and 15 great - grandchildren. Friends may call at the Welch Funeral Home at Hookstown today and Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Campbell, 912 Neptune Ave., Chester Arrangements are incomplete.
