Lillian E. Brittain, 94, 500 W. Front St., Berwick, died at 7:40 a.m. Saturday at Berwick Hospital. She had been in ill health for several years.
Born in Pine Summit, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Mary Weatherill Lyons. She lived in Berwick for the past 80 years.
Her husband, Harry, an area real estate and insurance broker, died in 1967.
She was a member of First Baptist church of Berwick.
Survivors include one daughter, Marie Sorce, Berwick; one son, Robert C. Brittain, Danville; six grandchildren, including former Montour County District Attorney Richard c. Brittain; and 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Guy Lyons, Orangeville and Arthur Lyons, Wilkes-Barre.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Jan Fabian Funeral Chapel, Berwick, with the Rev. Charles Jenson, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Market Street, Berwick.
