HUNT, MARY , "MAURINE" HOWARD Mary "Maurine" Howard Hunt, born May 31, 1920, in Marlin, Texas to Reverend Cyrus Green and Mary Ida Howard, went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2007, in Dallas. She graduated from Northside High School in Fort Worth, TX, and attended Draughon's Business School in Dallas, TX. Maurine was a wonderful wife for over 57 years, and certainly a loving Mother. She was a charter member of Northlake Baptist Church, Dallas, since 1956. She loved to read, and enjoyed decorating her home. Maurine had a gentle spirit and a beautiful smile. She had the gift of laughter that gave joy to others, as well. She loved her family, and gave tremendously through her dedicated caregiving. She was a gracious, giving lady who was admired and loved by everyone. She will be greatly missed by all. Preceded in death by her husband, William E. (Bill) Hunt, her two brothers, Virgil and Willis Howard. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sherri Hunt Nelson and Bob Nelson of Richardson, TX; son, William Green Hunt of Dallas, TX, granddaughter and husband, Valerie Ann and Jeremy Frank Adell of Plano, TX., a great grandbaby expected in March, two nieces and a nephew. A celebration of Maurine's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2007, at Northlake Baptist Church in Dallas. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Northlake Baptist Church, 10110 McCree. Rd., Dallas, Texas 75238.
