VIOLET "VICKI" B. ALLEN, 81, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, at Woodview Health Care Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Putnam County, Ohio, she was a Loan Clerk for Home Loan Bank for nine years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 296 and Eagles Lodge 3164. Survived by son, Tracy (Amy) Allen of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Samantha, Grace, Anthony and Joseph; sister, Alvera Sakemiller of Columbus Grove, Ohio; and brother, Albert Bauman of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lantis D. Allen, in 1964; sisters, Hilda Scherman, Rose Schwegler, Gertrude Schwertner and Marcella Bauman; and brothers, Eugene Bauman, Elmer Bauman and Lawrence Bauman. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Ctr. Road, with calling one hour prior. Fr. James A. Shafer officiating. Calling is also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with Vigil at 8:30 p.m. Monday. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to Masses
