Funeral services for Delouria Rundell DeLoach, 91, of Monroe, LA, formerly of Delhi, LA, will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Delhi, LA. Dr. Marcus Murphy will officiate. Interment will be in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi, LA.
Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church in Delhi from 9:00AM Tuesday until time of service.
Mrs. DeLoach was a member of the First Baptist Church of Delhi where she taught Sunday School, worked with missions, and sang in the choir. She was active in the PTA on the local and state levels, the home demonstration club on the local, state and national levels and was an active volunteer in her community. However, her best and most endearing trait was her love for God and family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, C.T. DeLoach; her parents, Frank C. Rundell and Ludie Blount Rundell; brothers, Ezra, Ben, Julius and Leon Rundell and sisters, Frankie Baker and Mertice Darrow.
She is survived by son, Charles DeLoach and Charlotte of West Monroe, LA; daughter, Diane Pippin and Bill of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Michael DeLoach and Stephanie of West Monroe, LA, Wes Pippin and Renee of Columbia, MO, and Charlie Pippin and Elizabeth of Shreveport, LA; and great grandchildren, Christopher, Caleb and Seth DeLoach, Cameron, Alyssa, Emma Kate, Alexis and Rebecca Pippin.
Pallbearers will be B.E. Pickett Jr., Jimmy Goodwin, Richard Sykes, Dell Hogg, Dr. Jim Rundell and Wesley Sullivan.
