DEATH OF MRS. N. LOZO
Mrs. Edson Newcity Lozo, who has been in feeble health since suffering a shock eight years ago, died Saturday at 9:45 a. m., at her home on Lower Bridge street.
The funeral service was held from the home Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock. Rev. W. J. McFariane of the Methodist Church officiating. Interment was made in the family lot at Cadys Falls. The floral display from the family, neighbors and friends was beautiful.
Mrs. Lozo was born in Franklin, one of 13 children born to Edward and Celestia Newcity, and would have been 80 years of age had she lived until Oct 14. She was united in marriage to Henry Lozo, who died 18 years ago. To this union were born four children, Freddie and Cora Bell, who died in childhood, and two daughters, Mrs Maud Williams and Mrs Etta Williams, who survive. She is also survived by a sister and by three brothers, Austin Newcity of Montgomery, Moses and Sidney Newcity of this village. She also is survived by a granddaughter, Ms. Cora Bagley of Barre.
The deceased had resided in this town for the past 35 years, where she was most highly respected by a wide circle of friends.

In several census reports the family went by the last name Williams. Various records of their childrens had Lozo and/or Williams.
