Gordon, August 13 - Miss Penny Denise Brown, 17, of Route 1, died in an automobile accident Saturday. Services were held at 11 a.m. today in Williams Chapel of Memories. The Rev. Duane Partin and the Rev. Nathan Godley officiated. Burial was in Ramah Cemetery.

Miss Brown, a native of Bibb County, had lived most of her life in Wilkinson County and was a Baptist and a senior at Wilkinson County High School.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shelton of Carrollton; father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Brown of Gordon; two brothers, Tommy Brown and Alan Brown, both of Gordon; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. West of Macon; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Molton of Gordon; and stepgrandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Hardie of Gordon.

Williams Memorial Chapel of Gordon was in charge.
