She was an area resident since 1953 and was born Sept. 29, 1933 in Blount,County, AL to the late Samuel and Nettie (Hays) Love. She was a former employee of Gateway Industries. A loving mother and wife. She is survived by
her husband of 48 years, Earsie; five children, R. Gwendolyn Neal of Ypsilanti, MI, Teresa L. (Bob) Ring of Valparaiso, Michael W. Ballard and Keith A. Ballard
of Hammond and Ercell E. Ballard of Portage; three brothers, James Broadhead of Trafford, AL, Jimmy
(Frankie) Love of Locust Fork, AL and Samuel B. (Eleanor) Love of Trafford, AL; five sisters, Ann (Carmen) Woodley of Hayden, AL, Marge Thomas of Trafford, AL, Jewel Brakefield and Williodee (Buck) Brakefield of Hayden, AL and Patricia (Seburn) Johnson of Nector, AL; seven grandchildren; Jenifer L. Ring, Shawn P. Neal, Jason A. Neal, Brad D. Ring, Dana M. Ballard, Eric M. Ballard and Megan E. Ballard. Preceded in death by grandson,
Scot T. Neal and two brothers, Clyde Love and Edward Broadhead.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 10, 1999 at Rees Funeral Home Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage, IN, with Rev. Seburn Johnson officiating and Gwen Neal giving a Eulogy. Burial will be in McCool Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at
Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
