Donnie Clawson, 87, of Speedwell died July 20 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Foust Clawson; four sons, Howard, Hillard, Roy and Earl; and two daughters, Edith Clawson and Mell Berry.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Bradens Chapel Baptist Church with elders J.C. Monday and LeRoy Braden officiating. Burial followed at the Braden Cemetery. Reece Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include three sons, Noble Lee Clawson of Speedwell and Ray Clawson and P.J. Clawson, both of Monroe, Mich.; two daughters, Lou Bullard of Speedwell and Nadine Owens of Dayton, Ohio; two brothers, Sebern Clawson of Speedwell and Hubert Clawson of LaFollette; two sisters, Sarah Vennie Braden of Speedwell and Arletta Leach of Dayton, Ohio; 43 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
