Mable Rollison was the youngest child of Rosa Coffey and Thaddeus Rollison. From 1931 -1939 Mable was a secretary for her brother, Jersey Rollison at his Real Estate, Insurance and Loan Business in DeWitt, Arkansas. From 1939 - 1942 she was employed by the Farm Security Administration at Lake Dick in Altheimer, Arkansas. From 1942 - 1947 she did secretarial work first at the Pine Bluff Chemical Warfare Division and later at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Corona, California during which time she lived at the home of her sister, Pearl Rollison Smith. After returning to Arkansas, Mable was secretary for many years at the Smith Rice Mill in DeWitt and was an active member of the First Christian Church.
