ANNA, Ill. -- Evelyn A. Anderson, 89, of Hendersonville, N.C., died Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago.
She was born Nov. 21, 1914, in Makanda, Ill., daughter of Guy A. and Rose Aden Henry. She and Theodore Anderson were married June 29, 1940, in Chicago.

Formerly of Anna, Anderson was a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. She was an elementary teacher several years at Anna School District 37. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Hendersonville and Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Lucille Henry of Belleville, Ill., and Sharon Sanders of Mount Carmel, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ron Cox officiating. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery.
