Harold Francis Curtis, 72, 1705 Park St., died at 11 p.m. Tuesday in a Greenville hospital.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. today in the Coker-Mathews-Peters Chapel with the Rev. W.M. Pratt Jr., of Dallas officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

Mr. Curtis was born on Jan. 8, 1896, in Golden, Colo., the son of Andrew Vincent and Bertha Wolfe Curtis.

He was married on March 5, 1921, in Tyler to Leah Long. He was an abstractor for the Kincy Abstract Co. and a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow, two sons, Harold F. Curtis Jr. and Thomas A. Curtis, both of Greenville; two brothers, A.B. Curtis and Herbert Curtis, both of Tyler and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one granddaughter on Nov. 16, 1966.

Pallbearers will be Ervin Neel, C.W. Thomas, W.Ralph Davis, J.Arthur Ballard, Paul Matthews (sic), Allie Patillo, Roy L. Butler, A.S. Moore and honorary pallbearers, John H. Ellis and T.M. Rabb.
