From the Denton Record-Chronicle, Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998:
Rondeau Brammer, 97, of Denton died Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, at Denton Good Samaritan Village. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, in Cole Chapel of First United Methodist Church in Denton with the Rev. Gary Mueller officiating, assisted by the Rev. Larry Nicholson. Burial will be in the Aurora Cemetery, Aurora. Schmitz-Floyd-Andersen is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Mrs. Brammer was born March 8, 1901, in Ellis County, Texas, to Sam D. McCluney and Anna (Maloney) McCluney. She was the widow of Garrett Hobert Brammer Sr. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, a volunteer for Trinity Presbyterian Children's Day Care, Fred Moore Clothing Room. She was a member of United Methodist Women for 50 years, and taught the three and four-year olds' Sunday school class for many years. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Arleen Morrison of Denton; son, Garrett Hobert Brammer Jr. of Gainesville; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
