It was reported in the 11MAR1948 issue of "The NEWS" of Egg Harbor City that the remains of Seaman 1/c John Case were returned from a military cemetery in Australia to be interred with full military honors at Germania Cemetery. He was the son of Mr. & Mrs. William T Case. No further information was included. Note that his rating is different from the military marker and his reported middle name was Kelly.
