John Wallace (Wally) Boyer, age 88, passed away Dec 28, 2002 in Tooele, UT. Born Jan 26, 1914 in Grantsville, UT. to John R. Boyer and Julia Johnson Boyer. Graduated from high school in 1933 in Grantsville. Married Chleo Durfee, Dec 23, 1939 in Salt Lake City, UT. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was active in church, the Lions Club and helped to start the first riding club in Grantsville. He retired from Tooele Army Depot in 1974.

Survived by his wife, daughter, Linda (Sam) Wingfield and son Wayne Boyer, Grantsville, UT. Eight grandchildren, eight great-grand-children. Preceded in death by one grandson Jeffrey Boyer, four sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services will be held Friday Jan. 3, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grantsville Clark Ward, 81 No. Church St. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment in the Grantsville City Cemetery under the direction of Tate
