Bret left this life on Sunday, October 15,2006 doing what he loved which was playing hockey. He collapsed and died on the ice of a heart attack resulting from clogged arteries. He was a loving husband for 24 years to his wife Nancy and a loving and devoted father to their two sons, Kevin and Eric. He supported his children in everything. He was also a coach for the Greater Lansing Amatuer Hockey Association for over 14 years and loved every minute of it. He was a wonderful cousin and friend, who always will be missed a lot by all his family and many friends. His funeral was very large as he touched alot of people in his life-well over 200 people. Bret is preceded in death by his father, Michael, who passed away on December 24, 2005, maternal grandparents, Wilfred and Mary Strawska and paternal grandparents Slyvester and Edna Artman. He will be greatly and forever missed.
