Born Antonio Cantone in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, Caserta, Campania, Italy on 9/6/1912. His father was Gaetano (Guy) Cantone. He traveled with his mother, Carmela DeNicola, and his 1 brother and 3 sisters on the SS Cretic from Naples, Italy on 12/22/1919 which arrived in Boston, MA on 1/5/1920. He aloped with Marie Jacqueline Howe, in Seabrook, NH on May 24th, 1938. They were re-married a month later on June 19th, 1938 at St. John The Evangelist Church in North Cambridge, MA. He had 1 daughter, Joanne, 2 granddaughters and 4 great grandchildren as of 2015. His brother was Francesco (Frank) Cantone (1900-1971) and his sisters were: Rosa Cantone Massa (1905-1992), Martha Cantone (1904-1966) and Gaetana Tina Joanne Cantone Butler Griffin (1916-2008). He died in a tragic accident on 1/26/1977.
