Tom was my kid brother. He was incredibly smart and was always a little farther down the road than the rest of us. Tom committed suicide at the age of 16. He had, as many children do, always blamed himself for our parent's divorce (he was 10 at that time). He was sent to Washington Univ. Medical School, St. Louis, to be of help to medical students. At the time, both my parents agreed on this, but as the years passed, my father came to regret it. He had a grave marker made for himself and Tom, and put in the IOOF Cemetery, Princeton, Indiana. My father's ashes are really buried there. Tom is not, and never was.
