Pamela Wright-Ampofo was born on January 4, 1953 to the union of Lancie V. Wright and Addie Louise Wright. She accepted Christ at an early age and recommited her life to Christ in October of 2001 at Living Word Christian Center in Forest Park, Illinios.And one of her faviorte pomes was FOOTPRINT IN THE SAND.

Pam attended Lucy L. Flowers Vocational High School on the West side of Chicago where she graduated and received her high school diploma. She went on to continue her education at DePaul University where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education.

While attending DePaul University, she gave birth to her son, Jamal. She later adopted her two nieces, Malissa and Shanice. After graduating from DePaul, she began to work for the Chicago Public School System.

In 1985 she united in marriage to her husband, Harold G.Ampofo. Pamela went on to continue her education and recived a Masters Degree in Special Educaton from the University of Illinios in Chicago.

Many students were blessed to recieve her knowledge and wisdom. She taught at several elementary schools in the Chicago Public School System. In the fall of 2003, she began teaching Special Education at the hight school level at Crane Technical Academy.

Pam truly loved the Lord. She spent most of her life living to love other as Jesus did. Her love for family and people was exemplary and you would always feel peaceful after leaving her presence. Pam began her new life with the Lord on Sunday, June 12, 2005 at 6:05 p.m.

Leaving to cherish her memories will be her family and a host of friends........
