ROTAN - Martha Idella Carter, 89, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at a Midland health center.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 4, 2001 at Weathersbee Funeral Home Chapel in Rotan.
Burial followed at the Belvieu Cemetery under the direction of Weathersbee Funeral Home.
She was born July 31, 1911 in Grandbury. She raised four sons, did volunteer work and served her church.
Survivors include Billy Carter and family, Robert Carter and family, Chester Carter and family, Johnny Carter and family, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one sister, Charlene Bowen.
