Surviving are two sons, William D. and Robert W., three daughters, Rebeca S. Amstutz, Elizabeth (Robert) Garner and Barbara J. (Burley) Hough Jr., four brothers, Gilbert Franks , Weldon, Raymond and Robert Tracy, a sister, Evelyn Tucker eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He retired from Dunbar Furniture, Berne, Indiana in 1980 and retired from farming in 1991. Mr. Amstutz was a member of the Church of the Nazarene at Geneva, Indiana.
One grandchild is deceased.
