Of Clio, age 92 died Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be 10AM Saturday, August 12, 2006 at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio, Rev. Fr. Gerald J. Ploof officiating.
Burial will be at Flint Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Thursday from 5-9PM and Friday from 12-9PM where a parish Vigil service will be held at 7PM.
She will lie in state at the church on Saturday after 9AM until time of Mass.
Contributions may be made to Brian's House in Davison. Gene was born in Bay City on January 20, 1914, to the late Sullivan and Frances Slezak.
She was a resident of Clio most of her life. She was employed at Zenhder's of Frankenmuth for 31 years. Gene was a member of Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo. Surviving are: 2 sons and 2 daughters, Frank (Judith) Lobodzinski of Flint, Anthony Lobodzinski of Gladwin, Mary Ann Lobodzinski and Cathy (Mike) Petty, both of Clio; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Marion (Helen) Slezak of Essexville; best friend, Isabel Monroe; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank in 1979; brother, Floyd Slezak and sister, Mary Frank.
