Funeral services for Mrs. Rener Browder, age 86, of Bastrop, will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2005 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home, Bastrop with the Rev. John McGregor officiating.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 10 a.m. till 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at the Carter Cemetery near Collinston under the direction of Cox Funeral Home, Bastrop.
Mrs. Browder was born February 24, 1919 in Bolden, Arkansas and passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at West Monroe, Louisiana. She will be fondly remembered for her love of flowers and flower gardening. Mrs. Browder is preceded in death by her parents; Lon and Minnie Rice Neals and two sons; Thomas Sweat and Jimmie Sweat.
Mrs Browder is survived by her husband of 34 years, Hilton Browder of Bastrop, three sons; Freddie Sweat of Baton Rouge, John Wayne Sweat and wife Millie of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Allen Sweat of Rayville, three daughters; Geneva Adcox and husband Arlon of Rayville, Cindy Allen and husband Billy Ray of Rayville, Eunice Sassman and husband Dan of Corpus Christi, Texas, and a daughter in law; Ester Sweat of Calexico, California.
Serving as pallbearers are Eugene Hall, Freddie Sweat, Michael Allen, Paul Allen, Jacob Sweat, Steven Sweat, and Kevin Sweat.
